Language decides more than skill
French, German and Luxembourgish are all in daily use, and the mix shifts by region. Residents in care homes often speak Luxembourgish only. Nursing ability rarely fails a candidate here; language often does.
CareBridge checks your nursing qualification against Luxembourg requirements, tells you exactly what is missing, and stays with you until your first shift. Free for nurses — the employer pays our fee.
Steps 01 and 02 sit with CareBridge · from 03 the authorities decide
Diplomas, employment records and language certificates are photographed on a phone and read automatically.
Your training is compared against Luxembourg requirements. Missing evidence is named, not guessed at.
Application to the Ministère de la Santé, fully prepared and tracked.
Residence permit, housing, registration. Employer and nurse see the same status.
Handover to the employer with a complete dossier and supported onboarding.
Nurses from outside the EU often apply with paperwork that is complete at home and still falls short in Luxembourg. What is missing usually surfaces months later, deep inside the recognition procedure.
For the employer that means planning on guesswork. For the nurse it means moving country on hope. Both wait for the same answer and get it too late.
CareBridge moves that answer forward. The check against Luxembourg requirements happens before the first interview, not after it.

Three things are worth knowing before you decide.
French, German and Luxembourgish are all in daily use, and the mix shifts by region. Residents in care homes often speak Luxembourgish only. Nursing ability rarely fails a candidate here; language often does.
If you hold an EU passport, no visa or work permit applies and recognition is largely automatic. From outside the EU, the route is longer and the paperwork heavier — but it is a defined procedure, not a lottery.
Portuguese, French, German and Luxembourgish in one shift is ordinary here, not exceptional. You would not be the only newcomer on the ward.
