The real bottleneck

Applications are not what is missing. Checked dossiers are.

Nurses from outside the EU often apply with paperwork that is complete at home and still falls short in Luxembourg. What is missing usually surfaces months later, deep inside the recognition procedure.

For the employer that means planning on guesswork. For the nurse it means moving country on hope. Both wait for the same answer and get it too late.

CareBridge moves that answer forward. The check against Luxembourg requirements happens before the first interview, not after it.

What Luxembourg is like

A small country with a serious staffing gap

Three things are worth knowing before you decide.

Language decides more than skill

French, German and Luxembourgish are all in daily use, and the mix shifts by region. Residents in care homes often speak Luxembourgish only. Nursing ability rarely fails a candidate here; language often does.

EU or not changes everything

If you hold an EU passport, no visa or work permit applies and recognition is largely automatic. From outside the EU, the route is longer and the paperwork heavier — but it is a defined procedure, not a lottery.

Teams are already international

Portuguese, French, German and Luxembourgish in one shift is ordinary here, not exceptional. You would not be the only newcomer on the ward.

Scope and limits

What CareBridge does — and does not

Our role
We prepare applications, check documents for completeness and track the procedure. Diploma recognition, the right to practise and residence permits are decided by the competent authorities alone.
Your data
Documents are processed on servers in Luxembourg. Employers first see your dossier without your name; contact details are released only with your consent.
Automation
The automated analysis produces a proposal, not a decision. A person reads every dossier before it reaches an employer.
Cost
Free for nurses. Employers pay per successful placement. Nobody should ever ask you for money on our behalf.
